MP-44  - StG-44  German WWII assault rifle - Nongun  A legal nonfunctional example made from a real WWII German weapon This WWII German assault rifle is a 100% legal and non functional collectible. It is made from an original WWII weapon but the receiver has been replaced with a solid aluminum receiver so that it cannot chamber or fire a round.   It's 37 inches long and it weighs about 8 pounds with the mag.  The stock and sight may not be original but I believe the rest of it is original 3rd reich issue, except for the solid aluminum receiver of course.  Marked on the side of the pistol grip housing "WaA21" from (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik A.G., Geislingen-Steige, Baden-Württemberg)    The stock has the number "4255" on the underside.    The mag is marked "gqm" , "MP-44" and "WaAA98 from (Loch & Hartenberger, Metallwarenfabrik, Jdar-Oberstein, Rheinland-Pfalz) it also has an eagle.  There is an "E" marked on the top sling swivel mount.  The sling is a postwar conversion I added. The trigger, selector switch and safety function properly, it has the ejection port dust cover. Also the sight hood and the thread protector on the end of the barrel.   I've removed the stock before but it is very tight and hard to get off.  This is a really beautiful  example and a real conversation starter!!!  It has an obvious quality and the character of age that none of the repros could ever possess.   Reduced from $2400.!!!    $1800.    I'll Ship it FREE in the USA.

	Postwar German Railroad Lantern  Carbide powered lantern, complete with red and blue lenses on the sides, lens doors latch  The lantern has several different dates. These were often repaired and reissued with later added parts. The chimney cover is dated 1951, the water tank is dated 1954 and the carbide can is dated 1963.   The hook on the back door is broken off.  Painted gray, some rust, and paint loss. I don't know if this lantern works, but it looks complete, Fair condition. Looks identical to the 3rd Reich period lanterns except for the dates. The pressed paper cases are dry and falling apart but the goggles are in excellent condition, still very usable. These are strange looking but they were actually issued to the Afrika Corps and other organizations. They were actually very practical goggles that could be folded up and carried easily in a pocket.  $10.  Each.

	Small Box With DDAC Emblem It measures 7" x 6" x 2.5"   The box is of typical 1930s construction and as the emblem of the DDAC German Automobile Collectors Association.  It shows its age but is still solid and straight.  The lining is missing from the inside of the lid.  The emblem or decal appears to have been added after the box had been for some time.  I don't know if it's original or not.  I've had it since the mid-1970s and used to keep my German insignia in it until I acquired too much insignia. It's still a great box to keep small collectibles in!  $30.

Back door has a German eagle with swastika and "DR"(Deutsche Reichsbahn) Painted gray, some rust, little paint loss. 	German Lantern WWII German Carbide lantern with side black-out panels. It is marked in several places with the 3 letter code " ltf " maker ??? No date. The side panels have original tropical or ordnance tan paint, they are stored in a holder on the back of the lantern. They slide into channels on both sides to restrict the light. The rest of the lantern has either been repainted or made from parts from other lanterns,? This is similar to the German railroad lanterns but different in several ways. 11 3/4" tall with the handle up.    SOLD

Comes in a beautiful folder with lots of info on it and an insurance stamp. I'm not sure how old it is. The date on the ticket is not clear, 1930 or 1950?
