German Lantern

WWII German Carbide lantern with side black-out panels. It is marked in several places with the 3 letter code " ltf " maker ??? No date. The side panels have original tropical or ordnance tan paint, they are stored in a holder on the back of the lantern. They slide into channels on both sides to restrict the light. The rest of the lantern has either been repainted or made from parts from other lanterns,? This is similar to the German railroad lanterns but different in several ways. 11 3/4" tall with the handle up. Very well made! SOLD
