I've been making M-43 caps for over 30 years but over the last few years I've been having trouble cutting and sewing because of wrist pain from an old injury. I'll eventually have stop making caps but I'm not done yet, I hope to make a few more! Also other things have been demanding a lot of my time so it's becoming impossible for me to continue. That's why my stock is so limited and I haven't added anything new for a while. If I run out of caps before I make more, I may end up just selling my remaining stock of fabric and patterns etc.. AIR VENT EYELETS - OPTIONAL

For $5. extra I'll install 4 quality eyelet vents, with washers into your cap.

I don't put air vents in all caps because not all German caps had vents and some people don't want vents so the option is yours! These are eyelets that I found in an old surplus outlet. They are of older quality manufactured hardware. They are unpainted and were never plated. I have treated both eyelets and washers with acid to give them a dull gray look. They look like the average original WWII German cap vents. The eyelets are zinc. Germans used steel and zinc. The washers are steel. Germans used steel and zinc for washers too.
