Old German Bonds

These are original German bonds that were issued in 1922 and were supposed to be redeemed in the mid 1930's but with the depression and Hitler.  The citizens who invested into these bonds lost everything.  After Germany's reunification, some German bonds became valid again and the German government honored them but not this type.  I've had these since about 1967.  These are an affordable collectible from Germany history.  Nice quality and sharp details, printed on bonded paper that has the letters "RSV" watermarked throughout the design, (Reichs Schulden Verwaltung) (The Reichs Loans Administration)  Each bond has its own serial number and is hand signed by one of various authorized representatives of the Reichs Loan Office.  A large Imperial German Eagle and fancy dark green border really makes these bonds attractive!   They are pretty impressive and look great in a frame and make a nice gift!    Size (8" X 9 1/2")
